Welcome to the Iranian Association of Boston

Established in 1989, The Iranian Association of Boston (IAB) is a non-political, non-religious organization and has no affiliation with any political or religious organization. The Iranian Association of Boston is dedicated to promoting the cultural and social understanding of Iran.

IAB is deeply committed to meeting the needs of the growing Iranian and Iranian American community. The organization strives solely on volunteer involvement.

2014 Annual Campaign

Holidays remind us of the cultural value and importance of continuing to invest in the IAB community. Over the years, we have been able to share many successful experiences at IAB (Khaneh Iran) such as the weekly senior citizens lunches, poetry nights, cultural and educational classes, scholarly lectures, scholarships to deserving students and many, many more community programs. None of these events would be possible without the existence of Khaneh Iran. Khaneh has become a beacon for the Iranian-American community throughout the Boston area. However, IAB depends on charitable donations to continue building our community - we get no outside assistance. That is why we ask you to remember to send in a pledge in support of IAB. Any amount you can give is greatly appreciated. There are five pledge categories:

IAB Scholarship

Dear Iranian - American Community,

In order to help talented students with interest in Iranian culture to achieve their aspirations, IAB grants scholarship to students who have high academic performance, have financial need base, as well as strong and documented interest in Iranian culture and society. IAB has deep interest in each of these students' achievements throughout the scholarship period and beyond.

For the academic year of 2014-2015, The primary candidate will be awarded with $3,000 scholarship for the standing academic year and the two runner ups will each be awarded with $500.
